What's Happening in September?

Tennis Program  |  August has been a long and busy month for me. It started off with the Duncan Trip over on the island. (I have a write up on the trip below.) Then came the preparation for the Coquitlam Junior Open Tennis Championships, which had definitely kept me fully occupied for the last two weeks of August. If we didn't have the rainouts during the week long tournament, I'm sure it would have made my life a little easier. Over 200 matches were completed, and I will publish the results very soon. As soon the tournament was done, another preparation was underway. This time it is the tournament road trip to Kamloops which will take place this weekend. We will leave this Friday afternoon.

We will be making up on rainout lessons over the next 2 to 3 Saturdays. Our first make up lesson is this Saturday (Sept 13th). All junior tennis groups except the 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm class will continue until the end of September (27th). The 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm class will continue until September 20th, due to a double session completed in July. All junior tennis lessons will end at the end of September, and will not continue into October should bad weather is a factor again.

Due to further interests in Kid Tennis, a fall session has been added to the schedule. It will take place over 4 Saturdays in September. Please contact me if anyone is interested in Kids Tennis over the next 3 weeks as there are still space available.

I'll be updating on the Coquitlam Junior Open Tennis Championships, and the Club Closed tournament soon.
