Showers Once Again

Rain, rain, rain, please go away. This summer weather is going from bad to worse for tennis lessons. Showers are falling. The 9 am and 10 am Kids Tennis lessons will be cancelled for this morning. The next update is at 10 am.
10 am Update: It's still drizzling. The beginner's group at 11 am will also be cancelled for today. Next update at 11:30 am.
11:25 am Update: Light rain falling, so here it goes... the novice and intermediate lessons are now cancelled as well. Looking at the weather maps, there's a chance of a break from the wet stuff in the afternoon. I will post my next update at 1 pm.
1 pm Update: There is a good chance the HP14 will start at 2:30 pm. I will make a final update for the HP14 at 1:30 pm. The HP18 will most likely be a go. Watch for the next update at 1:30 pm. (Note: HP12 is now HP14)
1:30 pm Update: The back end of this rain showers are moving a little slower than I would like. It has now passed over central Surrey heading north. Cloudy and drier conditions will follow in an hour or so. Unfortunately the HP14 wouldn't be happening today. I will update at 2:30 pm for the HP18. The squeegee team (just the two of us) is all ready for a workout session.
2:15 pm Update: Yay! It has stopped raining and the sky is brightening up. Roads are beginning to dry up as well. Since the HP14 didn't go ahead this afternoon at 2:30 pm, I want to start the HP18 a little earlier at 3:30 pm for a 3 hours session. HP18 has not miss a Saturday yet since the summer session started. (Knock on wood.) For some earlier groups, it's their 3rd rainout so far. I want to hedge the extra hour from today to future rainouts in the season. Mother Nature has taken a break and isn't paying much attention to us this year. See you all at 3:30 pm.
