Rain Out on Final Day

Coquitlam Junior Spring Challenger  |   Almost a total washout for the last day of the tournament.  Only two matches were completed, and six other matches have to be rescheduled to next weekend.  Two more finals were completed in between the falling rain.  Aaron Man of Vancouver fought through the draw of 32 to win his first junior tournament title.  He beat the number 4 and number 1 seeded player en route to his boys' under 14 singles finals. In the final he demolished his unseeded opponent in straight sets 6-1, 6-0. The other match is the boys' under 12 doubles finals.  Alexei Zaroubo and Larry Zhao have an easy win over the team of George Kagramanian and Evgeni Maiseyeu. Both Zhao and Zaroubo are from Burnaby, Kagramanian is from North Vancouver, and Maiseyeu comes over from Maple Ridge.
